Administrative Services Officer - Reception (Kapuskasing)

Position Title: Administrative Services Officer - Reception
Location: Kapuskasing, ON


Closing Date: June 24, 2022

Under the general direction of the OW/Housing Manager, provides administrative services in the accounts receivable, clerical / reception areas in accordance with CDSSAB policies and procedures and CDSSAB Vision & Values.
  • Taking payments, issuing receipts and records to tenants via YARDI software program
  • Responsible for maintaining all accounts receivable records
  • Processing tenant arrears and or credit letters
  • Administration of lease renewals information requests
  • Processing daily deposits, transactions and balancing daily cash
  • Processing of all tenders, attending tender opening, preparing minutes, administration of tender documentation
  • Providing general information to tenants, public, applicants and contractors
  • Review and verify client and agency monthly invoices for payment for all programs
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Two-year diploma in office administration or business administration with related experience or a combination of education/experience acceptable to the employer.
  • Relevant experience in the social services arena
  • Excellent writing, communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability in word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Working knowledge of the full range of programs delivered by CDSSAB Housing Services
  • Satisfactory Criminal Records Check
  • Must maintain confidentiality
  • Bilingualism in accordance with the French Language Services policy
  • Must meet full COVID-19 Vaccination requirements

Salary Range $22.40 -$26.54/hour (as per unionsalary grid)
